Leonard Brumfield ran at will against a solid Hammond defense. No one could have predicted that he would gain 215 yards rushing and 11 yards receiving.  If he continues to have game of that caliber, Amite could be unstoppable.

Week 2

Just when we thought Hammond would be in a year of rebuilding, they go out and beat one of the best teams in the state.  The 2 quarterbacks  had an impressive game throwing for over 197 yards.

Week 1

6 carries for 198 yards and 5 touchdowns.  Whoa! Byron Robertson practically dominated the game with every touch of the ball.  From kickoff, to running, to receiving, he just needs to have the ball in his hands to make an immediate impact.
